Meet The Author

Gary Lorei grew up in a lively Pennsylvania home with nine siblings, finding refuge in the ponds, creeks, and hidden trails behind his house — especially the secret “Grand Canyon of Walnut Creek.” A small moment helping a nervous child in Sunday school sparked his lifelong commitment to supporting young learners, including children from dozens of countries. Now a picture‑book author, Gary writes playful, rhyming stories that offer kids safe, imaginative adventures. He lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife and aging puppy.
